VVSS 2009

VVSS is the European symposium on Verification and Validation of Software Systems. The symposium annex tool exhibition provides a forum for decision makers and experts from industry, government, and academia to discuss the state-of-the-art methods, techniques, and tools for the analysis, verification, and validation of software.

In an era when our society at large is depending more and more on software and thus on its quality (dependability, reliability) and quality is yet again becoming a competitive advantage, it is necessary to realize that software has become an indispensable and extremely valuable asset that needs to evolve and whose evolution needs to be carefully managed.

On 11 June 2009, the 5^th edition of VVSS will be held at Eindhoven University of Technology and this year's theme is: "From Analysis to Certification", reflecting the need for more software analysis methods, techniques, and supporting tools as well as a need for software product quality certification.
